Tell Me Thursday Jan 24
With this picture from Yesterdays Wordless Wednesday, My son Alin was having a rough day and trying to bad mood. Rebecca giggled I can fix him and make him feel better, I asked how so she climbed on the couch and Alin picked her up and she just give him big kisses.
After he put her down she kept asking Are you better are you better now Then he had a huge smile and told her that yes she has the magical healing kisses that make him better. And gave her a hug.
Cabin Fever Tips for Little Ones
Well here cabin fever is still running strong. Its been freezing out side. literally the highest it has been is like 10 degrees. Way to cold to go out and play. So I came up with some other ideas that you can do with your children on those days when the weather is not allowing for outside play.
Being inside is not easy for any of us. Especially for our little ones. I have found a few things that can help when we have those days when you stuck in the house to consider before pulling your hair out.
Stomping Out Negative Thoughts
Has this ever happened to you, a negative thought enters your mind? Have you ever said it even if you don’t mean it? I am sure most of us have at one point or another. Probably more often than we would ever want to admit. These thoughts are not only damaging to our self-esteem, they start a cycle of behaviors that tend to negatively impact the way we see various events in our lives.
Including You on Your To Do List

that need to be done or things we need to do for our children. This is fine in fact we do this so we don’t forget what needs to be done.

Fun Crafts using Paper Bags
Today is a cold day here in Washington. And I started brain storming some fun ideas to get the children to do this afternoon. I then thought of the paper bags that we have floating around the house. After a little thinking I found some great ideas to create with them.
When things get boring in the afternoon and going outside is not really an option for that day. There are some creative ways that you can spend the day making some crafts with your children. Crafts do not mean that you have to keep a stock of craft supplies around the house. There are several household items that you can use to create these fun crafts with and have you and your children busy for hours. Here are some ideas to use with paper bags, crayons, markers, colored paper and what ever else comes to mind.
Been a Busy little Bee
I started adding the old Articles from Mommyland to the new site that is on WordPress. So nothing will have been lost in the move. It is taking sometime but its all in a days work.
Tonight was the first night in a while that we went out as a family. We went to Black Angus and everyone had a great time. On the way home we stopped by Fred Myers to get a few things. Alin surprised me they did not have what he wanted so instead of saving his money until he found it he found something special for Rebecca Brendan and Jeff nothing to big but he wanted to share. Just when you begin to think the teenager in him has taken over he shows me wrong and is a good guy.
