As much as we plan and hope, going out into the ghoulish night to troll for candy is not as innocent as it seems. It should be but it is not. Both parents and children look forward to enjoying a bit of frightful fun without thinking about the real dangers lurking around every corner.
Here are some safety tips to accomplish that task.
- Begin trick or treating during the daylight. The way things used to be that everyone waited until dark for greater effect. Unfortunately, there are those who want to cause trouble and can only do so after dark. Now, trick or treating begins at dusk even if the sun is not down.

One Year Ago
Well Its Been One year, Yup Tamara-Wilson.com has been online for one year as of today. Time to Party. I can’t believe its been that long. I have learned in all areas of life, parenting, business and just about me with this blog and have met some great people through the blogging community.
It has been a roller coaster of a year, I had to take a few months off as I am sure you have noticed over the summer because of family issues but its OK now things are calm and we are back to normal again well as normal as life can be with 2 teens, a kindergartner and a preschooler in the house and DH working funky hours. But things are better now which is a huge relief I am more repaired for any of the hassles that may arise.

Pumpkin Cake
Lots of fun things you can do with Pumpkins,? Here is a yummy way to create a cake using this healthy veggie
Ingredients:
- 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour
- 2 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 (16 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon all spice
- 1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Directions:
In a large bowl combine flour, sugar and spices.? In a separate bowl combine beaten eggs, vegetable oil and pumpkin puree.
