Craft Projects You Can Do In One Day
Time arise when we need to make a gift for someone but the time isn’t on our side. Or maybe we need a project for a church or youth group. And sometimes we have an unexpected day off that we would like to spend crafting and have something to show for it. It’s times like these when we need a simple project that we can do in one day.
You may just be surprised at how many projects there are that you can complete in one day. Here are some to consider:
Happy 5th Birthday Rebecca
Wow My baby is now 5 the time has really flown by with her. It seems like yesterday she was born my tiny little angel sent to our family to add that something special that was missing from our family. Then today
she is that added little spice to our everyday lives that I know I would be lost with out.
She was actually born on Thanksgiving so her birthday falling on Thanksgiving is more just one of those rare things. It was the best one of my life. The past 5 years with her giggles and addtiude have been amazing.
Sticky Bow Games for Christmas Fun
The time for gift giving is getting closer and closer with each passing day. Before long we’ll be buying and wrapping gifts for friends and loved ones. It’s also the time to put sticky bows on your presents.? Why not start a new tradition within your family – an annual sticky bow game.
You may be wondering what sticky bows are. They’re the fabric or ribbon bows with covered tape on the back of them that are used to decorate packages. The adhesive used on sticky bows isn’t very strong, so they shouldn’t cause permanent damage to anything they’re stuck on to.
Thanksgiving craft ideas for kids
Are you looking for some fun ways to keep your kids busy during the Thanksgiving holiday? Here are some fun Thanksgiving craft ideas for kids:
Turkey wreath – Buy a straw wreath and various Thanksgiving decorations, let your kids glue on the decorations to make a holiday wreath to hang on your front door.
Turkey cups – With the Thanksgiving family dinner coming soon, you’ll probably have a house full of kids, buy small kid-sized plastic cups and craft markers. Give each kid a cup and let them write their name on it and decorate it.
Lots Going On For The Holidays
With the big holiday season approaching we have alot of things happening this week. I have been practicing baking pies, not something I have done before but it is ok. They are coming along ok I guess. Rebecca is turning the big 5 on Thanksgiving so that has us running around like crazy, she is not letting any of us forget her big day is coming quickly.
Cotton Ball Snowball Fights
Have you ever been walking in the snow, minding your own business, when all of a sudden you feel pain? You’ve been hit in the back of the head by a snowball? You know snowballs hurt, but snowball fights are part of the fun of having snow. Along with building snowmen, snowball fights are a common childhood activity. To avoid being hurt, however, you may want to suggest your children have snowball fights with cotton balls.
Your children may not like the idea of having snowball fights with cotton balls, but there are several benefits of having snowball fights this way.
