Earth Day: Celebrate Awareness and Appreciation of the Earth
Every year people all over the world observe Earth Day (April 22). Celebrate awareness and appreciation of the earth by using any of these ideas. They may help you plan your own Earth Day festivities.
Earth Day began on April 22 more than 30 years ago when Senator Gaylord Nelson decided that it was important to teach everyone, especially children, about our environment. He wanted to be sure that people understood how important it was to take care of our planet.

Imagination Games – How about a Teddy Bear’s Picnic?
Children have great imaginations. Give them a pile of toys on their birthday, and if they’re very imaginative, they’ll play with the boxes more than the toys themselves. You can encourage this creativity by using imagination games. How about a teddy bear’s picnic?
What’s a teddy bear’s picnic? Actually there was a children’s song by that title written in 1907 by John Walter Bratton. Lyrics were added in 1932 by songwriter Jimmy Kennedy. The song is still recorded and used on children’s albums today.
Imagination Games – How about a Teddy Bear’s Picnic?
I totally love the genuine imagination of little kids. It comes so easy at least with mine. This makes coming up with activities easy but on the other had not so easy. My daughter can sit on the other side of the room for hours and create fun things for her to do.

How Much Allowance Should My Child Get?
Giving your child an allowance may be a point of contention between you and your partner. Some experts think that children should be given allowances based on how old they are. Others think they allowances should be associated with household chores. While you want to help your child learn to handle money properly, you may wonder, “How much allowance should my child get?”
Most financial experts agree that the earlier you begin teaching your child about money the better off they will be to handle it properly in the future. However, you don’t want to overwhelm them with the responsibility at too early an age.
Keep Your Teenager Fitness Motivated
Not too many years ago you could expect children and teens to get exercise during gym class at school as well as spending time outdoors playing or riding bicycles. However, with the popularity of televisions, computers, and gaming systems, children and teens are spending less time in physical activity and more time being sedentary. Your goal is to keep your teenager fitness motivated as they grow.
Everyone knows the importance of maintaining a healthy body, but that doesn’t mean that they do what’s best in order to stay healthy. Quite often this means they’ll sit around instead of being active. They may also eat too much or the wrong foods which leads them to gain an unhealthy amount of weight.
