A few days ago I mentioned having fun things planned for this summer, many families go on vacation to different places. Although there are a multitude of destinations considered kid-friendly, here are the top 5 you may want to consider on your next family vacation.
Father’s Day Burgers
Dads love to BBQ as well as eating anything, this is a yummy burger to celebrate dad on his special day.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 2 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tbsp parsley, minced
Method:
Heat up your BBQ.
Shape your ground beef into 4 hamburger patties and set aside.

Teaching Stranger Danger
From a very young age parents repeat the words “don’t talk to strangers” to their children over and over again. Conversations may end with parents listing the people in the child’s life with whom they are allowed to talk and give information to. Well it has been a while, life got in the way with the seasons not wanting to change and life just being crazy here with 4 kids. I do wonder how everyone does it all, with not alot of time, teens and younger kiddos, housework, just everything I am sure one ay I will figure it all out.

Summer Vacation 09 is Almost Here
Here we sit Thursday morning, the second to the last day of school. The boys are excited about the activities that are going on today, so the house is a buzz with excitement and giggles. Mom is sitting around wondering what on earth are we going to do this summer its going to be a long one. It’s going to be a busy summer with tons going on, yet not much going on.
