Eight Fall Beauty Tips

With fall come changes in temperature, color, and clothing. The air begins to get drier and the days get shorter. As summer fades, here are some ways to make sure your beauty doesn’t.

1. Get a haircut
This is an excellent time of year to trim away summer damage caused by the sun and swimming in salt or chlorinated water. A trim will keep your hair from looking dull and tired.

2. Condition your hair
The summer humidity we all love to complain about will give way to dry, cool air in autumn, and hair really responds to changes in humidity. Give your hair a deep conditioning treatment to nourish and maintain your hair’s vibrancy.

Why Do Toddlers Hold Their Breath?

When children hold their breath, it is a scary thing for parents to deal with. Sometimes they stop breathing until they pass out, which can send parents into a panic. Why do kids do such a troubling thing?

In the case of babies and toddlers, it’s rarely a voluntary thing. Kids this young don’t just come up with the idea of intentionally holding their breath to get attention, or to get what they want. While breath holding frequently accompanies tantrums, it’s not something they do on purpose.

Stress, Depression, and Exercise

As I have mentioned before that I am Bi-polar more on the depressed side then manic. I went to the Dr yesterday for a check up and all was the same as it has been she did give me something to help me sleep since I haven’t been sleeping. I haven’t been sleeping because of stress from my son. Something that is not much discussed he is also bi-polar and it seems that he has been stuck in a manic/rage state the last few months. We was evaluated and found that he possibly has aspergers syndrome we are looking more in to that with his Dr. So yea things have been stressful here with him and the other kiddos driving me crazy but it will be ok.

Spray Tans – the Healthier Option

Skin cancer has risen to epidemic proportions in the United States, and other unpleasant results of sun exposure (wrinkles, age spots) are causing people to seek alternatives to lying out in the sun or going to a tanning booth. Spray tans provide a much healthier option to getting a warm glow to your skin. But what is involved in getting a spray tan? How long does it last?

There are several different methods of spray tanning. All spray tans use dihydroxyacetone, or DHA, to stain the outer layer of skin cells. Because of this, the tanned look lasts about a week to ten days before needing to be reapplied.

A Necessary Evil

Organization is not a fun thing to do, but it is necessary to keep your business ship running smoothly. Some view it as grunt work – shuffling papers, creating databases, setting up calendars. It is all the reason why some businesses fail while others succeed.
