Did you know that, oatmeal is one of the easiest and most nutritious breakfasts you can make. If you can boil water or have a microwave oven, you can certainly make oatmeal within minutes. Here are a few tips on how to make oatmeal.

Holiday Cinnamon Braid And Bonding

Here is a fun bread that you can make with your little ones or big ones if you have teens they also love to make this, Yes even boys. I have found that baking helps open both deep and silly conversations with them. To me it is worth the mess they may make. I love the bonding that baking brings with the kids. They grow up so fast and we only have a short time to bond and create these little memories with them. I say take advantage of every chance you can. So this week I am going to bake this Holiday Cinnamon Braid with my son Alin since I have been making candy with the other three its time to bake with him.

Well with it less then 2 weeks from Christmas I am sure many stoves are warm and kitchens are smelling yummy with the sweet smells of tastey treats. I know mine is. Quick and Easy Oreo Bark

I love to make candy with the kids, not only around the holidays often times just because. If you ask me its a great time to spend with the kids and enjoy the bonding that comes with it. One yummy treat that is easy to make is Oreo Bark. I Love these to me the oreo bark tastes like the Mothers frosted animal crackers.

Ingredients

  • 6 cubes of Vanilla Almond Bark
  • About one line of a pack Oreos (more or less according to your liking)

  • Microwaveable Bowl

Old Fashioned Molasses Cookies

For many families the holidays mean a time for baking cookies, and pies often times with the rush of todays lifestyles we aren’t getting the chance to make homemade cookies as often as we like. This is an easy recipe me and my daughter love to make together, so this recipe is totally Kid Friendly.? These are not only yummy they make the house have that holiday smell while baking.

  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ground cloves
