Where Does Your Mind Go?
You will only go where your mind goes. You do and only do what you think about. Sound familiar? People often times wonder why they keep doing the same old self-sabotaging habit. Why does the smoker, who knows smoking will one day kill them continue to smoke? Why does the diabetic, who knows all too well the repercussions of eating too much sugar, still overindulge on sweets? The answer to those and many more questions just like them is easy. They think about it ? it enters their mind and they react on it.
“Ch, Ch, Ch, Changes?”
Negative Dwelling in the Mind
Life is not always easy, many times we tend to fall in to the hole where our minds tend to wonder on not so happy things. Sometimes it happens so fast we are not able to stop it or even realize its starting and the negative thoughts begin to overwhelm us.
Mormons Are Not Perfect
Many times I have heard things like ‘Those Mormons think they are better then us because they do this or that’ or ‘She sure does think she is perfect’ , things like this totally drive me crazy. I
will be the first to admit that I am not perfect heck I am far from it. I sin and make mistakes. I am Not a perfect mother, wife, daughter of God, or Mormon. I will never claim to be one of these things. I know and can see my faults. Not a day goes by I am not having to repent for one thing or another.
Becoming a Celestial Partner
Often times I sit and wonder am I being a Celestial wife? Am I doing all the things I should be doing for my husband or with my husband? I feel as if I am, I feel like we have a great marriage and awesome communication, at the same time there are times when it feels like something is totally missing from out lives. So I am going to take this step to get Becoming a Celestial Partner: 5 CDs + Workbook as a part of my New Years Resolution for 2012 so I can truly learn to be the wife and help mate my husband deserves.
The Coat ~ A Story Of Charity
This is one of the most amazing videos of true open honest charity that I have seen. Many times in our lives we would simply walk by never giving a second look or offering a smile. This young man opened his heart to share. Makes me want to open my heart and share with others.
Note this does have a small scripture at the end, nothing else religious.
