The Real Thanksgiving
I know that this time of year everyone is thankful for one thing or another and that is great. Last night while talking to my mom we were discussing Thanksgiving and something a friend of hers said and it opened my eyes to what it really is.
He said that Every day is Thanksgiving, Every day when we are thankful for anything. I never thought of it this way before. However when you think about it when your praying or saying thank you to your higher power then you are celebrating your thanks for what ever your thankful for that day. It suprized me that I never thought of it this way before.
I think its one of those things that we tend to forget though and really be happy for each thankful moment we have. So I say the Real Thanksgiving is when your heart is filled with joy and thankfulness for whatever when ever it is. Since you are Giving thanks
